NASA Multimedia Artist
Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, AL
I create animations and interactive multimedia products for MSFC/NASA, and sometimes clients external to NASA. Work includes building 3D models, texturing and animating models, creating models for rapid prototyping, translating 3D models into different formats, coding Flash applications, building CD and DVD applications and working with audio. Work with video involves downloading video and converting online video into different formats. Work can involve coding with HTML and CSS, and preparing animations, interactive programs and graphics for online delivery. Projects require utilizing many different software programs including Lightwave 3D, Zbrush, Flash, Adobe Audition, Google Earth, Sorenson Squeeze, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere. Training is ongoing and includes work at online sites such as lynda.com, as well as NASA training in SATERN. (August 2005 - Present).
